To enhance the situational awareness within the maritime domain, the project aims to strengthen the anomaly detection capabilities and to support the authorities in decision-making. The core approach involves the development and validation of AI-based algorithms capable of automatically process the current camera imagery. The main goal is to prototype a real-time and post-event analysis platform that performs behaviour extraction and activity detection of the vessels. In addition, the possibility to extend these features to other spectral bands is explored.
