Signature reduction techniques on camouflage are commonly used to enhance the survivability of soldiers and high-value assets. In addition to existing visible and partial NIR concealment, research is needed to explore how the camouflage capacity of the new Belgian battle clothing can be extended to further spectral bands on the one hand and how their performance on the terrain must be evaluated on the other hand. The MultiCam+ project aims at improving personal camouflage in the SWIR, MWIR & LWIR domains.
