Simon is a research engineer with a background in deep learning for computer vision. 

Simon Rennotte is a research engineer in the Laser and Optronics unit, Communications Information Signals and Sensors department (CISS) of the Royal Military Academy Brussels (RMA), 

with background in deep learning for computer vision applied to facial analysis, medical scans and automatic drone control. 

In 2024, he joined RMA to investigate the usage of advanced artificial intelligence and machine vision algorithms for real time threats detection in the maritime field.
