The study aims at clarifying the Electro-Optical and camouflage technologies (by separating commercial promises from actual performance) and at investigating which technological advances should be favoured and for which we should encourage the industry to invest because they offer the most promising way forward. By combining the existing performance prediction models, laboratory tests and outdoor measurements, this project targets the performance assessment of the Electro-Optical systems in a specific scenario [E/O-System – propagation – interaction with the (camouflaged) target].
