About

Alexander Borghgraef is a research scientist in the Laser and Optronics unit with a background in theoretical physics and extensive experience in remote sensing, pattern matching, and behavior analysis for detection and tracking. Over his career at RMA, he has worked amongst others on naval mine detection, UAS and counter-UAS technology. Alexander has worked on both national and international projects, and has represented the Belgian Defence in several NATO workgroups and measurement campaigns on the topics of counter-UAS and Free Space Optical Communication.
